Work was under way to upgrade the Way from Carron to Cragganmore to improve its multi-user surface, suitable for cyclists, walkers and horse riders. This work is part of the Speyside Low Carbon project, funded by Transport Scotland and the ERDF. This work is due for completion by December 2021. The project includes bike repair stations at strategic locations on the route. Two electric bikes are available to hire from near the Speyside Visitor Centre in Aberlour by Findhorn-based Moray Carshare, and another two bikes to hire from the Fiddich Park car park in Craigellachie.
